Sustainability Week: Learn How To Take Care Of Our Planet By Living a Sustainable Lifestyle
Recently, the UN warned that we have 12 years to limit climate change catastrophe. Therefore, we have approximately 12 years to avoid a major breakdown and preserve our planet. As humans, we have endless power to change that and that’s the main reason why we decided to start campaigning, informing and spreading awareness about all the different ways we have to start living a sustainable life.
What does Sustainable Living stand for?
To start with, environmental sustainability or being sustainable doesn’t mean living without luxuries or comfort. It means being aware of your resource consumption by reducing unnecessary waste.
Sustainable living describes a lifestyle that stands for to the willing to reduce an individual’s or society’s use of the mother nature’s resources, and also one’s personal resources. Those who have sustainable lives are always trying to reduce their carbon footprint by adjusting their methods of transportation, energy consumption, beauty products, clothes, grocery shopping and diet.
From Asian Mums Network and Alhambra Womens Network, we decided to write a series of posts in order to provide and expose the right information you need in order to start living a sustainable life and start saving our planet – for us and also for our future generations. And, consequently, we will empower you to make small changes with a big impact. Throughout this week’s posts, you’ll be able to pick up some of the opportunities to do your part to help mother nature and also to have a healthier and happier lifestyle.
